What a rewire involves
A rewire replaces the fixed wiring of a property — the cables running behind walls, under floors and through ceilings — along with the accessories and consumer unit. It's a substantial job, usually planned over several days, and finished with full testing and certification.
When a rewire is needed
Older properties with rubber or fabric-insulated cabling, installations with no earth conductor, or systems that repeatedly fail inspection are candidates for a rewire. We can also carry out partial rewires where only some circuits need replacing, which is often more cost-effective.
