What we do
We replace old fuse boxes and outdated consumer units with modern units fitted with RCD and RCBO protection, surge protection where required, and clearly labelled circuits. A modern consumer unit provides significantly better protection against electric shock and fire.
When you need an upgrade
Old fuse boxes without RCD protection are increasingly flagged on EICRs. If your consumer unit has rewireable fuses, has no RCD protection, or is unsafe when tested, replacing it is usually the simplest fix. We also upgrade units when circuits are added or extended.
